Baby Bristall and Family Need Your Help!

Meet baby Bristall! On November 18, 2014, doctors made the decision to deliver her 5 weeks early due to complications with mommy's blood pressure. While Bristall initially seemed to tolerate the early delivery well, she was moved by ambulance to a Columbus, Ga hospital less than 12 hours after her birth. Her little lungs simply were not ready to take on the huge task of breathing.

Of course, this was quite a tense time for mom, dad, and baby alike, as mom was left to recover from her cesarean while dad followed baby to specialized care.  As soon as doctors allowed her, mom joined dad and baby in Columbus. However, the stress of the situation combined with complications from the spinal has sent mom back to the emergency room on more than one occasion.

Healthcare is Expensive

Many prayers have gone up, and continue to go up, for the health and recovery of both mom and baby, but medical bills have been piling up in the meantime. A normal, uneventful delivery is expensive enough on its own, but an emergency c-section brings an entirely new collection of bills to the mix. Add to that the emergency transport, specialized NICU care in excess of a week now, emergency room bills for mom, and the general expenses of living away from home, and you have a mountain of bills that seem insurmountable.

Would You be Willing to Help?

Mom and Dad are both extremely hard-working people. They never ask for anything, and even now, the idea of asking for help was not theirs. Friends, family, and loved ones, however, are desperate to do whatever they can to help this beautiful family any way they can. And right now, what they need is financial help. They've been away from their four other children for more than a week, and Christmas is coming. Would you be willing to make a contribution toward their medical expenses so that the weight of their responsibilities, especially during this time of year, are not quite so burdensome?

Any donation that you can give would be received in the utmost of humility and gratitude. Whether it's $5 or $5,000, every cent can help. And if you aren't financially able to donate, you can still help by sharing this webpage with all of your friends and spreading the word. And of course, any and all prayers are very much appreciated. May you be blessed in your generosity and may the Christmas season bring you all the joy, love, happiness, and peace that your heart can hold! Thank you in advance from Nick, Rebecca, and Bristall Priest...and the rest of their entire family!
